Bobby Watson
This was shot at the Green Country Jazz Festival at NSU in Tahlequah, OK on March 7, 2005 Lens Aperture: F5 Shutter Speed: 1/13 Focal Length: 103mm ISO Speed: 1600
I like this one very much also. You can see the love and the experience he has for his music in that shot. If I give the first one a 10, this one is at least a 9!
Aaron; I know you will get tons of advice from lots of great music fans, but honestly, the best advice I have is... do it from "your heart". I can tell you the rule of thirds, lightning, etc.. but in the end, it's got to be in your eye, and heart... and it is! This set of photos are by far your best, to me, that you have taken. But as a person who dabbles in photo'y a bit, what is Great to you may be throw away to the next. I have over the course of years learned to save them all. Someone will think the worst you think you have is your best, I promise you that! Not much different than with a band. Has to have it's own heart and soul, or it will never be.. so it is with photograpy... So dude, you're off to a great start, just keep on showing us your heart and soul, and that of the subject as well... just as you have been doing! Best regards, Stan, PCL
